Tameka Foster’s fifth heartbeat is still beating. The stylist is gearing up for a marathon in honor of her son, Kile Glover, and is using the platform to spread awareness about healthy living.
“It’s been proven that physical activity is one of the most beneficial things you can do for your health,” said Tameka during an interview. “We are excited about families joining us as we get active and stay healthy.” The stylist added, “It’s really great that even in Kile’s death, lives will be saved.”
Foster went on to talk about her son, telling media that the arts along with outdoor activities were his heart. “The arts were extremely important to my son, Kile,” said the stylist. “As we kick off the holiday season, I’m inviting everyone to give back while burning off those extra Thanksgiving calories. In the process, you will be making a camper’s dream come true.”
Kile passed away on July 21, 2012 after sustaining severe injuries during a boating accident. He was Tameka’s child with Ryan Glover. The ‘Give Thanks Run/Walk’ marathon will take place on November 30, 2013.
