She may not carry the signature “K” at the beginning of her name like her mom and aunties but one thing is for sure, North West will dress to impress like the women in the Kardashian clan. Kim recently told Vogue magazine that designers have already begun sending her clothes for North to wear while out and about.
“I was just blown away by the generosity of the designers for sending me those pieces,” said Kim during her interview. “Not all of the brands even make clothes for babies. This is the fun part right? Dressing her up and making her look nice. She’s much more stylish than I was when I was little.”
Kardashian went on to talk about her plans to lighten things up in the clothing department telling media, “I want to dress a little lighter color-wise. I think North looks cute in light colors, and then I want to wear light colors. North doesn’t typically wear pink, though. She wears mauve or blush, not, like, typical baby pink.”
Although comfortable and confident with her image, Kim admitted that the immense criticism she received while pregnant with North had a negative impact on her self-esteem. “For me, having people criticize what I wore and looked like when I was pregnant – that was hard. It made me feel insecure, so I have tried to avoid the limelight more,” explained the star.
Since being out of the public eye Kim has learned the joys of dieting and exercising telling Vogue, “I haven’t exercised a whole lot so far, just because I’ve been busy with the baby and I don’t want to leave her. I still have some [baby weight] to go. [The Atkins Diet] worked for me and I don’t feel tempted to eat a bunch of junk food. It’s just about staying healthy – it will come off.”
North West is Kim’s first child with boyfriend, Kanye West. The little one was born on June 15, 2013.
