The artist had a stellar ceremony on Thursday (October 10) in which the best and brightest of Hollywood came out to shed love on the musician whose been making tunes since 1972.
“I hope you’ll understand it when I say this, but it feels like it’s mine as well,” said L.A. Reid who is considered by Babyface to be a very close friend. “Kenny and I moved to L.A. probably around 1983 or ’84, not far from here, and we weren’t doing that well, if you know what I mean, and so I’m proud because he’s come so far.”
Babyface had family by his side at the ceremony, taking pictures with his wife and children while on the Walk.
