Hercy Miller is making his own way in this world as a celebrated athlete. The 11-year-old was recently videotaped at his latest basketball game, shooting and blocking like a pro. Hercy did layups and stole balls as his teammates backed him up on the court. “Defense is the key to success,” the tween told the cameraman after his game.
Miller also shared his secret to mastering the game with media saying, “I’ve been working with different coaches on my ball handling and my defense. Also, I’ve been going to several basketball summer camps and playing on traveling teams. As a point guard, I’ve studied Chris Paul, Tony Parker, and Tim Hardaway.”
Although he practices everyday and searches for ways to improve his game, Hercy gives credit for his amazing talent to his brother, Romeo, and father, Master P. “They put the ball in my hand. By them being around basketball and playing, it made me want to play it and love the game.”
Master P has nine kids. Hercy is one of his five sons.
