Clifford Joseph Harris, a.k.a. T.I., is one father who is excited about the new school year. The rapper recently stopped by Power 98’s ‘Morning Maddhouse” where he told DJ No Limit Larry that he cannot wait to get his kids out of the house and in the classroom for another year of learning and making friends.
“We’re celebrating the kids going back to school,” said Tip. “So they can get out of my house, messing up my hallways, marking up my floors and leaving food on my couches…one day they’re going to get older and they’re going to be able to do something for themselves and get them some money. As soon as they buy something they really, really like, I’m going to go spill something on it,” joked the star.

T.I. also commented on the George Zimmerman case that found the 29-year-old not guilty of murdering 17-year-old Trayvon Martin last year. “My hat goes off to the Martin family, because if it was me and my child, there wouldn’t have been no trial,” said the rapper. “I’d have been on trial. It would’ve been the trial of the father who killed the man who killed [his child]. That would have been my story. My hat goes off because [the Martin family] are much more clear and level-headed thinkers than [myself].”
T.I. and wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris parent six kids together. The Harris kids will make their return to reality television when ‘T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle’ premieres on Monday, August 5, 2013 on VH1.
