Fabolous and the family stopped by The Smurfs 2 premiere in New York City on Sunday, July 28, 2013. Fab and girlfriend Emily Bustamante looked stylish while standing behind their son, Johan. The 5-year-old appeared to be ready for his close-up with a gray hoodie and black shoes.
The Smurfs 2 takes audience members into the depths of evil as the celebrated blue creatures team up with their human friends to stop Gargamel from turning Naughties into Smurfs. The movie is a follow-up to the smash hit that took theaters by storm two years ago.
Johan was one of several kids to see the film in New York, having dad by his side for support during all of the scary parts. “Only got 3 hrs sleep but made sure i took #PrinceJoso to the #Smurfs2 private premiere 2day. This a small sacrifice to see my boy smile.. This is what we must do as parents. Its our first priority. Its our toughest job. Its our biggest goal. To raise the next generation of Kings & Queens,” tweeted Loso after the premiere.
Fabolous recently told media that fatherhood has taught him much about love and responsibility saying, “Your child, you know, they come into the world, they depending on you and they need you. At the same time, you are their connection to life so they have a genuine love for you that in those first beginning years of life, it’s nothing else that they even could think of that could match the love that they have for you.”
Johan is Emily and Fab’s only child together. The rapper and stylist began their courtship in 2001.
