Zena Foster and Zoey Babbs are activists. The mother and daughter recently posed side-by-side while wearing t-shirts in support of justice being served on George Zimmerman for the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Zena and Zoey held crossed fingers high as they looked into the camera with all seriousness and determination. “I am a mother and my heart is [broken],” tweeted Foster. “Please help Zoey & I spread the word…Get involved go support,” wrote the star.
Zena and Zoey are encouraging all of their social media fans to support the movement taking place on the web that seeks to weed out racism within the justice system. ‘One Million People United For Change’ is a coalition that aims to build a bridge of peace and establish true justice in America. Several celebrities, including Jamie Foxx and Jay-Z, have joined the movement and raised their voices in support of ending blatant racism.
Trayvon Martin was fatally shot by George Zimmerman on February 26, 2012 while en route to a family friend’s home in Sanford, Florida. He was 17-years-old.
Zoey is Zena Foster’s only child with Tank. Visit the ‘One Million People United For Change’s’ website to find out what you can do to support the “Justice for Trayvon” movement.
