Fans of Leslie will get to see her in action at home on ‘Celebrity Wife Swap’ this weekend. Lisa will be the active athlete who believes in planning family affairs while her exchange, Julie Brown, will be more on the liberal side of things. Both Lisa and Julie will be forced to adjust to one another’s lifestyles, and face challenges from spouses and kids who may not appreciate their newly implemented rules. Here is a synopsis of the episode:
Four-time Olympic gold medalist and WNBA All Star Lisa Leslie lives in Calabasas, California with her husband, Michael, and their two young children, Lauren (5) and M.J. (3.) Lisa and her husband have a very active lifestyle, with Lisa keeping everyone on a tight schedule, including planning all of the children’s activities. Lisa and Michael feel they are raising future pro-athletes, so the children eat a sugar-free diet, with Lisa preparing healthy, home-cooked meals that the family enjoys promptly at 6:00 p.m. each and every evening.
When Lisa walks into Julie’s home, she immediately notices its eclectic décor and the absence of toys, signaling that no children live here. Then she meets Martin and Gianna and gets to know the family. After dinner Lisa and Marin head to the roof, where they lounge with a glass of champagne, as Lisa struggles to adjust to a slower-paced life.
Meanwhile in Calabasas, Julie meets Michael and the kids. Michael informs her that she will be cooking dinner for them, as well as the extended family, who will be visiting that evening. Julie heads to the kitchen, but is soon overwhelmed by all the work that needs to be done in a short amount of time. As she struggles, Michael watches from the sidelines without pitching in, causing the evening’s schedule of dinner and bedtime to go off much later than expected. The next morning Julie is up early, getting the children ready for the day while trying to adjust to the family’s regimented lifestyle.
