Shayla and Tyrese make a school run as the entertainer picks up his daughter after a long day of learning. Shayla is every bit of excited to leave school with dad, running down the street while dad watches protectively.
Tyrese recently sat down with PEOPLE to talk about his daughter, and discussed the many things that he’s looking forward to as a father in coming years. “[Shayla’s] very very independent and self-sufficient, but I’m looking forward to her discovering even more independence. I’m looking forward to that first conversation when my daughter discovers the things she’s passionate about other than play dates and hanging out with some of her favorite friends from school,” said the celeb.
Tyrese is one of several stars in the hit movie, Fast & Furious 6. The artist is rumored to be collaborating with Tank and Ginuwine for a group album that will be released on July 23, 2013. Shayla is Tyrese and ex-wife Norma Mitchell-Gibson’s only child together.
