The decision is in. Ray Lewis III has committed to the University of Miami for the Fall semester, hence carrying on the tradition of his family. The high school senior recently signed the papers and threw up the “U” sign with dad Ray Lewis Jr. by his side.
Although many factors played into Ray III choosing to attend Miami, one of the central components that influenced the high school sensation to commit was the love that he received from the university’s coaching staff. “All the coaches made me feel welcome. All the coaches showed me a lot of love, made me feel like I was home,” said Ray. “I’m definitely planning to go down to the FSU game. You might see me at many more. I’ll probably use [the FSU game] as an official visit.”
Ray Lewis III will follow in his father’s footsteps in attending Miami as Ray Lewis Jr. also attended the university in the ’90’s. Ray Lewis Jr. retired from the NFL in style when his team, the Baltimore ‘Ravens,’ defeated the San Francisco ’49ers’ during this year’s Super Bowl game.
Ray Jr. has six kids.
