Michael Bourn is reaching new heights in baseball with his 3-year-old son, Bryson, by his side. The outfielder recently attended a press conference after his first day of training with the Cleveland ‘Indians’ with his son on his knee.
Although the first day was a bit rough, Bourn said that he appreciated the process of getting acquainted with the team’s flow. “[The process] taught me patience, but I landed in a spot I was wanted. This is my first time ever in Arizona,” said Bourn.
Michael previously played for the Atlanta ‘Braves’ where he achieved a personal best .294 batting average and 61 stolen bases. He decided to reject the team’s $13.3 million offer and become a free agent in November of last year.
Bourn signed an astounding $48 million contract with the Cleveland ‘Indians’ on February 11, 2013. The baseball sensation has been playing the game professionally since 2006. Bryson is his only son.
