Marvin Sapp hit the red carpet in style with his kids-Marvin Jr., Mikalia, and Madisson-by his side at the 28th Stellar Awards at the Grand Ole Opry House on January 19, 2013. The singer and songwriter was the recipient of four awards, including the Male Vocalist of the Year and Artist of the Year awards. While dad rocked the stage inside, Marvin Jr. showed this stylish one on the red carpet with a brown leather jacket that yelled “I’m cool” to photographers and other guests of honor.
Marvin Sr.’s new album, ‘I Win,’ was one of several popular works highlighted at the Stellar Awards. Pastor Charles Jenkins also received much recognition for his hit single ‘Awesome’ that helped the artist capture five awards throughout the night. Marvin L. Winans, Le’Andria Johnson, and Donnie McClurkin rendered amazing performances at the awards show, and Kirk Franklin along with Mary Mary served as hosts.
The Stellar Awards were held in Nashville, Tennessee this year.
