Evan Holyfield, the son of boxer Evander Holyfield, was among several celebrity kids to walk the runway at the 2012 Runway Red: Safari Wonderland celebrity kids fashion show this past Saturday( August 11th). The annual Runway RED fashion extravaganza benefits Show Me the Way Foundation’s efforts on HIV/AIDs research and awareness. Proceeds from the show fund the SHE and HOLLA Back programs of the Show Me the Way Foundation, which educate youth infected or affected with HIV/AIDs on the disease and the importance of abstinence.
“I am always moved by the support from the celebrity community,” says Show Me the Way foundation executive director, Tashawnya Menefee. “We have worked with new celebrities every year and we also have some that have supported us again and again. I’m just thankful that they have a heart for our foundation and the children affected by HIV/AIDS that the foundation was created to assist.”
The Atlanta event also featured the children of entertainers T.I., Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey and more.
