Tami Roman may be known for her feisty behavior on VH1’s Basketball Wives, but it is this same behavior that has brought embarrassment to her two teenage daughters. During an appearance on the Wendy Williams Show on Monday, the reality show star vowed to change her bullying ways and to never “see that look [of embarrassment] on my children’s face again.” “I am raising my two daughters and [one] particular incident really taught me a valuable lesson. I wasn’t really acknowledging the platform that Vh1 had offered me, and I wasn’t really being responsible. For the first time I looked at my daughters and they weren’t really proud of their mom and they were embarrassed of me. I said ‘You know what, it’s ridiculous that I’m on TV, I have a huge platform, I should be responsible, I should be accountable, and I haven’t really been honoring that.'”
Season five of Basketball Wives will show off the new and improved Tami, but in the meantime, she is planning to pursue a career in acting. The budding actress is slated to star in a new show very soon. “I just signed on the be a series regular for a new show,” said Tami, “The network hasn’t made the announcement so I can’t really talk too much about it, but you guys will see me actually doing scripted programs.”
