Southland star Regina King and her son Ian,16, were spotted having a good time at the Lakers game this past weekend. The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the New Orleans Hornets by the final score of 88-85 at Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles, CA.
In a recent interview with BET.com, Regina revealed that she is preparing to direct her first film. “This is really big for me, and I am moving outside of my comfort zone,” she said. “I’ve learned over these past few days, whenever you’re doing anything that falls in the category of a career change, it can be exciting and scary at the same time.”
King was honored for her accomplishments at BET Networks’ Leading Women Defined conference in Washington, D.C. last month.
