Viola Davis joined Sandra Bullock in the Extremely Loud and Incredible Close New York premiere on Thursday, December 15, 2011. Davis stopped on the red carpet to give People magazine a mini interview, and did not hesitate to talk about her 16-month-old bundle of joy.
Viola loves reading to baby Genesis. According to the actress, “She (Genesis) loves Goodnight Moon. Every time we get to the part where the old lady who is sitting and whispering hush, she goes ‘Shhh!’ I just love it. It’s something simple, but it’s the most amazing thing to see.”
Davis also spoke about her future plans for Genesis. The actress would love to see her daughter interact with baby Louis in the coming years. As Viola explains, “Oh yeah, I’d absolutely love to set her up with Louis. That kid is so cute. He’s going to be a bruiser. But let’s try to get a play date in first. If they are ever in the same place, we’ll get them together.” Davis has recently received a Golden Globe nomination for best actress in a Motion Picture. Since its debut The Help has sold millions of tickets at the box office and thousands of DVDs in retail stores.
