Diamond Artest, the daughter of NBA star Ron Artest a.k.a “Mr World Peace”, will be making her musical debut this month with song “Fighter”.
Proud dad Ron writes via Twitter, “Make sure yal buy my daughter Diamond’s single on September 27th.. And watch her story online October 3rd[sic]!” Adding, “It’s about her fight with cancer! Inspirational!”
Diamond was diagnosed with Wilms’ tumor, a cancer of the kidney, when she was four years old. She is now a healthy young girl, who recently convinced her dad to ‘dance with the stars’.
“That’s the only reason I’m doing it. I’m doing it for a cause,” NBA player Ron Artest says of his stint on television show Dancing With The Stars.
