Tomlinson&#8217;s wife, LaTorsha, along with his children, Dayah, 9 months, and Daylen, 2 next month, watched as he signed a one day contract with the San Diego &#8216;Chargers&#8217; and announced his retirement thereafter.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GqAxrxaMx6E\" target=\"_blank\">VIDEO: Ladainian Announce That He Is Retiring<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I feel like I&#8217;m graduating. I really do, because I&#8217;ve got my life ahead  of me, I&#8217;m healthy, I&#8217;m happy with a great family and I&#8217;m excited to now  be a fan and watch you guys\u00a0play,&#8221; Tomilson <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stamfordadvocate.com\/sports\/article\/Tomlinson-signs-1-day-contract-with-Bolts-retires-3642410.php\">said<\/a>. &#8220;[I didn&#8217;t decide to retire] because I didn&#8217;t want to play anymore. It was simply time to move on.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>LaDainian hangs up his jersey after 11 years of playing professional football.
