Studios in Burbank, CA, on October 22nd,\u00a0Smith\u00a0received the 2016 Male EMA Futures Award at the Environmental Media Association\u2019s 26th annual event, in recognition for his activism and\u00a0volunteer work.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are so honored to be able to share with the global public this inspiring young voice for environmental issues and sustainability,&#8221; said Debbie Levin, president of EMA in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter via <em>Billboard.com<\/em>. &#8220;Jaden is a true activist and role model that can authentically lead his generation to a more thoughtful and conscious future. Taking action and creating a movement sharing his vision of water stewardship, forestry and plant-based solutions with the goal to decrease the level of greenhouse gas emissions can influence billions. We couldn\u2019t be happier to present Jaden with the Male EMA Futures Award. By\u00a0packaging\u00a0water in bottles made from paper and plant-based plastic, JUST water is reducing the amount of harmful greenhouse emissions while helping to preserve the environment. With the Male EMA Futures Award, our\u00a0voices are being\u00a0amplified\u00a0and we\u2019re making a difference.
