The little one&#8217;s mom tells <em>Fit Pregnancy <\/em>that her son lies every now and then.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He\u2019s in the lying stage now,&#8221; says Tia Mowry-Hardrict. &#8220;Mommy goes to work, but he wants Mommy\u2019s attention, so he\u2019ll pretend that something\u2019s wrong. He just told me, &#8216;Mommy! A bee stung my neck!&#8217; He doesn\u2019t know that if a bee stung his neck, you\u2019d see the stinger\u2014and he\u2019d be screaming at the top of his lungs! When he told me that, I had to laugh.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Although funny at times, Tia tells <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fitpregnancy.com\/parenting\/celebrity\/tia-mowry-my-son-fibbing-stage\" target=\"_blank\">Fit Pregnanc<\/a>y <\/em>that she takes dishonesty very seriously. &#8220;At first I console him so he knows I care,&#8221; shares the star in reference to her son&#8217;s fabrication about the bees. &#8220;But then I say, very calmly, &#8216;Guess what, Cree? A bee did not sting you,&#8217; and explain to him that he shouldn\u2019t say that when it\u2019s not true. You need to talk to kids like they\u2019re tiny adults, because they are,&#8221; explains Tia.<\/p>\n<p>Cree is Tia and husband Cory Hardrict&#8217;s only son.
