In addition to becoming more aware of who she is as a wife and political figure, the mother of two has become more acquainted with who her daughters are through various conversations with them.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You&#8217;re more confident, you know yourself more, you&#8217;re not concerned about what other people think,&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eonline.com\/news\/505468\/michelle-obama-reveals-her-workout-routine-valentine-s-day-plans-with-barack-and-dishes-on-sasha-and-malia-s-dating-life\" target=\"_blank\">says<\/a> the First Lady of being 50-years-old. &#8220;You watch your kids grow up and I know, my girls, they&#8217;re starting to become real people with opinions and it&#8217;s just so much fun to talk to them now.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Although officially eligible for AARP benefits, Michelle doesn&#8217;t allow her golden age to stand in the way of her fitness efforts. &#8220;Barack and I work out together every single morning,&#8221; explains the First Lady. &#8220;I get up in the morning, usually either right before the kids go to school or right after, and I do about an hour and a half workout. I try to do 45 minutes of cardio and then whatever I&#8217;m doing that day.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Michelle Obama has been an advocate for healthy living since entering the White House with her husband in 2008. The First Lady has inspired thousands to get active through her &#8216;Let&#8217;s Move&#8217; campaign, which puts good nutrition and exercise at the forefront of wellness. Mrs. Obama turned 50-years-old on January 17, 2014.
