O&#8217;Ryan expressed nothing but excitement for his daughter who danced like an angel a few moments before taking the candid tweeting, &#8220;So proud of you today Namiko.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Namiko stood center stage as she glided and twirled to the lyrics of &#8216;Beautiful&#8217; by Christina Aguilera for a crowd of overjoyed supporters. The little one was joined by her fellow dancers who also did a wonderful job in conveying the song&#8217;s meaning to audience members. Proud mom Jhene Aiko shared a video of her daughter in action with Instagram fans tweeting, &#8220;My Nami Love&#8217;s first ballet recital,&#8221; beside it.<\/p>\n<p>Aiko recently discussed the transformation that motherhood has brought forth with\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.complex.com\/music\/2013\/07\/jhene-aiko-hot-interview-photo-video\" target=\"_blank\">Complex<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>magazine, saying, &#8220;When I was younger, my mom managed me. I didn\u2019t want to be a part of business decisions. As an adult with a daughter, it\u2019s important for me to make those decisions for myself. I can\u2019t let anyone else control what\u2019s being put out there for my audience.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Jhene also talked about her image that has become more mature over the years, telling\u00a0<em>Complex\u00a0<\/em>that who she is perceived to be reflects where she is in life at the present. &#8220;The image hasn&#8217;t really changed, I have,&#8221; explained Aiko. &#8220;Time has changed me. I\u2019m less afraid to do and talk about certain things because, as an adult, I\u2019m doing adult things. I\u2019m all about being comfortable, and I am comfortable with showing skin. I accept my body.\u00a0I am comfortable with having sex appeal. As a mom, I\u2019m honest with my daughter; I lead by example and try not to shelter her.
