Actress Tisha Campbell-Martin and husband Duane Martin celebrated the impending birth of their baby boy with a French Cirque du Bebe-themed shower, held last Saturday afternoon in California.
Tisha’s French-inspired baby shower was brought to life with mod elephant vases, monkey statues, zebra-print tablecloths, sparkly crystals and giant ostrich feather “trees” in blue and golden yellow feathers. A menu comprised of opulent cheese displays, triple cream brie ,homemade sweet potato fries dusted with Cajun spices; specialty drinks that included a “French Martin-tini, “Toast to Tisha” and fresh blueberry lemonade with mint leaves; and dessert tier towers displaying over 200 gourmet treats completed the setting for the grandiose affair.
The lavish baby shower was attended by friends like Samuel L. Jackson, Leah Remini, Cedric the Entertainer, Holly Robinson Peete, Eriq La Salle, Niecy Nash and Pauletta Washington.
Tisha is due in early fall with a baby boy who will join an older brother Xen, who turns 8 next month.
